The place is cozy and has the feeling of a family run business. The food was very tasty and I loved that all the pasta is fresh made, as well as the dough in the restaurant. Some pizzas may look a bit more expensive but those are the ones with more exclusive (and expensive) ingredients. The stuff was also very nice and passionate about authentic Italian cuisine. We ll visit it again when we will be in the area
Nice Italian restaurant and pizzeria, fairly priced for the area. The pizza is very good, thin and light. The carbonara is spot on, with guanciale and pecorino, proper. The fried calamari great too. All in all, we couldn't fault anything.
Had starters, main and dessert. All were great. The starter was nice and fresh, the main was sumptuous, and the dessert delicate. Service was very helpful picking out matching wines. The decor is beautiful, however, the acoustics made it hard to carry a conversation with my party.
We happened upon this amazing intimate restaurant by chance and I couldn't be happier that we found it. To enter is to be transported to Italy. We started with olives, a bread basket, and bruschetta - all simple with quality ingredients. Then moved in to their award winning pizza - and the reason it's award winning becomes apparent with your 1st bite. We finished our meal with an incredible tiramisu and cafe americano. The service was attentive, but not rushed. I could not recommend Pappa Roma more!
The homemade bread made for a delicious starter, even tho I would have liked a little olive juice or garlic butter to really round it off. Then I had some of the best lasagna I have ever had, followed by the delicious ricotta filled canolli. The staff was very attentive throughout and I would highly recommend visiting Pappa Roma.
