No frills beauty salon offering threading, manicures, etc at reasonable prices. Staff are efficient but not particularly friendly to new customers. I walked in for a threading appointment, and was just told to sit down - but no one communicated what was happening and who I was waiting for. Threading was reasonably priced at £7 but left me with some scarring (this is two days after - it is still quite swollen). My other eye has minor scarring too.
I booked a haircut here because they had an option listed specifically for curly hair. If you have curly hair, you know how important that is! When I arrived, they didn't seem to know about my booking but one of woman that was there cut my hair anyway. It was obvious that she was not familiar with cutting or styling curly hair. The cut turned out ok I guess, but I was really hoping for more professional service all around.
Had a manicure and toenails as always so good, lovely staff, and very professional. The Salon is spotlessly clean.Had Carla this time really good but all the staff are excellent at what they do. Would definitely recommend this Salon. Marianne
The lady that does my eyebrows is amazing but this is at far as it goes. The owner is greedy for money and constantly double booking appointments and then claims you don't book an appointment even though u have a booking reference confirming your booking. I won't be going back as no eyebrow threading is worth waisting an afternoon for
Worst experience ever. I booked a Hollywood strip Wax (which I always do in Italy) but when I arrived they suggested to do the hot Wax (more expensive): not only it wasn’t less painful as they said it would be, but the result was everything but accurate! I also asked for full-leg strip Wax, but the way they did it was more painful than ever (I believe the method they used to rip was so unprofessional, I could have done it better by myself). The worst part of all this is that they tore so hard that I was left with a bruise on my thigh (I am olive-skinned and NEVER had any problem with waxing). Summary: Worst waxing experience of my life.
