Appalled at the customer service. I ordered 2 internal doors on the Wed to be available for collection on the Sat. On Sat I attempted calling from 0800 to arrange collection time - it took multiple attempts and over an hour later before they answered. I was told whilst they can see it in the system - no one actually pressed order. They unhelpfully suggested I hire a van and drive to 2 different Howdens depots to collect the doors (a round trip of nearly 2 hours and a huge expense for van hire)! They were unwilling to coordinate getting the two doors to Putney using their drivers or even getting them to 1 depot rather than 2. SHOCKING SERVICE
Absolutely terrible service. Ordered a cabinet for collection but got sent over to the Wandsworth branch saying that they have it there for me, after which Wandsworth branch send me off to Twickenham. Lady there wasn’t aware of my order and nothing was ready for collection. Got the order after 2days of driving around. Waste of time and money.
Ann and Dean are the best: nothing was too much trouble for them , they were an absolute pleasure to work with and really helped me find a kitchen I loved within my budget. I'm absolutely thrilled with the final result and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
I placed an order with Adrian for built in office cupboards. The whole process was a pleasure and the items were delivered by the extremely helpful Neil. Great value and service what more can you ask for. Highly recommended.
One bad experience after another. I had a kitchen design done, and was told that Howden's don't price match (to a competitor for a like-for-like kitchen). So I went to another branch and they price matched everything, saving me THOUSANDS of pounds. I also tried returning an item purchased at another branch, but was told they can't accept any returns from another branch. Turns out they actually CAN accept returns from other branches (hello - you're a chain!!) but it just takes a phone-call. They are unwilling to help - go elsewhere... Wimbledon are much more helpful.
